Victor Puelles holds a medical degree from Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia (Lima, Peru) and a PhD from Monash University. For his postdoctoral training in Germany, he first moved to the RWTH Aachen University Hospital and then to the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf, where he started his research group. In 2022, he was appointed dual Professor of Complex Tissue Analysis at the Department of Clinical Medicine, Aarhus University (Denmark) and the III. Department of Medicine (Nephrology), University Medical Center Hamburg Eppendorf. Victor leads a multidisciplinary team of physicians, molecular biologists, and computational scientists that aim to decode tissues to understand human disease.
