Samuel C. Kimmey, PhD, is a Senior Scientist at Oregon Physics, where he leads spatial biology research and development for the MIBIscope™ platform. He earned his PhD in Developmental Biology from Stanford University, where his research focused on cellular development, stem cell maturation, and single-cell analysis of protein regulatory networks.

Today, Sam leads R&D programs spanning antibody bioconjugation, spatial single-cell analysis workflows, and the continued development of MIBI technology. His work includes the development and manufacturing of MIBIslide™ Blue, a next-generation microscope slide designed to enable MIBI and histological imaging on the same tissue section.
