PROF JINDAN YU

Dr. Yu, MB, PhD, is the Fray F. Marshall Chair of Biomedical Urologic Research, Professor and Vice Chair of Research in the Department of Urology at Emory University School of Medicine. She also serves as the Scientific Director of the Genitourinary Cancer Program of the Winship Cancer Institute and the contact PI of the NIH/NCI Georgia SPORE in Prostate Cancer grant application that engages 29 investigators across seven Georgia institutions. Nationally, she is a member of the American Society of Clinical Investigation (ASCI), the American Association of Physicians (AAP), the Vice President of the Society of Basic Urological Research (SBUR), a founding member of the Serican Academy of Urology (SAU), Editor-in-Chief for Serican Journal of Medicine, and an Associate Editor of Oncogene. . Dr. Yu’s laboratory specializes in using cutting-edge genomics, bioinformatics, and AI technologies to understand aberrant gene regulations in cancer and identify novel targets/approaches for therapeutic interventions. Dr. Yu's research has led to groundbreaking discoveries that laid the foundation of multiple clinical trials, including the MEVPRO trials that simultaneously target androgen receptor and EZH2 in metastatic prostate cancer patients.
